Dynamic art comes from a dynamic process and the Glass Art pieces created by Toni-M are collages....visual riddles of colour and texture that mesmerise in a dance of light.

Glassware has to be innovative and timeless. Each beautifully crafted piece combines design, texture and colour to create a unique and functional item.

This fascinating art form has been produced for thousands of years. It is sometimes referred to as "warm" glass, because the working temperatures of kiln formed glass lies midway between the extremes of glass blowing ("hot" glass) and stained glass ("cold" glass).

The glassworks process encompasses:

• Design (conceptualising and sketching the pieces)
• Preparation (selecting the glass, cutting, grinding, washing, kiln set up)
• Glass Fusing (melting or slumping glass pieces together in a kiln using molds)
• Finishing (cleaning, sanding, washing, drying, packing)

All glassware is dishwasher safe, although it is not recommended for the dishwasher, as this is after all a piece of art work and should be handled with care.

Unique and beautifully handcrafted, each plate, serving platters or bowls varies in tone and sizes.  Textures add an effect that’s captivating and almost luminous.  Painted designs capture the focus of a particular environmental influence.  Smaller delicate plates are perfect for displaying a candle, incense, or possibly small hors d’oeuvres – clients can choose a colour combination that suits their mood and occasion.

Toni-M’s creative forms in glass sculpture and other decorative objects is an expansive and ever-changing range. Flexibility is the key to a satisfied customer, so glassware pieces can be designed to a client's specification, personalised or expanded into something like a dinner plate setting. Each piece has been signed in a gold glaze and is guaranteed to have been handcrafted with the highest standard of workroom values.
